International Welcome Days Federico II

Two days will be dedicated to welcoming Erasmus and international students entering the Federico II. On 17 September 2019 at 10 am in the Complex of Saints Marcellino and Festo and on 18 September 2019, again at 10 am in the Blue Room of the University Complex of Monte Sant'Angelo, the University will greet incoming mobility students. The growing number of foreign students, in fact, has necessitated an articulation, of the traditional welcome meeting, on two different days. Both days, divided into didactic areas, will open with the greetings of the Erasmus Delegate of the University Professor Laura Fucci, of the Director of the University Linguistic Center Professor Pasquale Sabbatino, of the staff of the International Relations Office.


Tuesday 17 September sees the protagonists of the educational areas of AGRICULTURE, ARCHITECTURE, JURISPRUDENCE, VETERINARY MEDICINE, POLITICAL SCIENCES, SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANISTIC STUDIES; Wednesday 18 instead the didactic areas of ECONOMY, PHARMACY, ENGINEERING, MEDICINE, BASIC SCIENCES.


The International Welcome Desk, the company that, for some years now, has been collaborating with the University in welcoming and assisting in finding incoming students' accommodation, will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and describe the services offered to students .


The Departments will be presented and, in the dedicated areas, it will be possible for the students to meet the staff of the educational areas of interest to whom to submit questions and / or doubts. There will be student associations and Neapolitan students who will talk about their Erasmus experience abroad and will meet incoming students to help them choose the venue where to take courses and provide the necessary assistance to fully enter the academic life of University.


Furthermore, within the UNINAQUAM project, the University will distribute bricks of water to students in view of an awareness campaign on the use of quality water provided within the university's structures in a more ambitious PLASTICFREE UNIVERSITY project . ITALPACK CARTONS srl will be present on both days and collaborated on the project and oversaw the production of water bricks.


The day was organized by the International Relations Office in the persons of doctors David De Simone, Marta Maciocia and Anna Perriccioli, in collaboration with the COINOR, the Rectorate and the Museum Center of Natural and Physical Sciences.
